It seems that Brinkman is now in the LED market too. I picked a new Brinkman Long Life LED light last night. For $11.95 it's not bad. It is on the large side, about as big around as a C cell Mag Lite, made of a grey plastic with a rubberized grip, and has a tail end switch. Sort of a cross between the Sure Fire and Scorpion switches.. It is powered by 2 AA batteries.
The beam is a nice blue-white, and except for a couple of rings in the light's outer edge (kind of reminds me of a bull's eye target) it projects the light out well past 30' in a tight beam.
The package claims that it is water resisitant, but I did not see any O ring seals.
It is a nice light, but a little on the large side. That and the rings in the light are my only complaints for now. It is nice to see LEDs lights becomeing more common. I got this at Wal Mart.
