Kevin and I were talking last evening about how all of us are home a lot and how it would be a good time to put on one of our "Bubble Jig with something to grind on" giveaways as a distraction to our situation.
For the "something to grind on" part of this giveaway I think we have something special. A local farrier has been coming to my shop for the last month or two taking some grinding lessons. Jon is already doing 3 and 4 bar composite billets, cable and the like. He does really beautiful work. Jon Adelsperger has been shoeing horses for 25 years and his skills at an anvil are impressive. I've asked Jon if he would forge the blade for this giveaway. He said he would be happy to do it.

Put your choice of blade to be forged when you put your numbers up.

Let's everyone stay safe, Fred
  • To enter, pick a number from 000 thru 999, one entry per person.
  • You must have an e-mail address to enter.

I think a kitchen knife or any type of hunter/edc would be cool. But any choice will be cool.

Sweet! Thanks for the chance. This makes the forum feel like the "good ole days" again lol

Wow, how generous of you.

301

My email here.

I would like a camp chopper, but whatever the forger feels like is also good.

Very kind!
I won't enter, I already have one.
But to all unexperienced grinders, the bubble jig will be the biggest improvement you'll ever have
