Buck 127 and 127V?

What is the differance between the Buck 127 fillet knife and the buck 127V model?

If you're talking about blade stampings, the "V" is simply the date code for 1989 and the one without a symbol after the model number stamping was made before 1986. One thing to note is the fact that the date code only tells you when the blade was made and not when the knife was assembled, although the two are usually pretty close.
