Buck 303 being discontinued?

I've gotten two emails suggesting it, with this one coming in yesterday titled "šŸ“¢Last ChancešŸ“¢"

Does this mean what I fear it means? That would be an awful decision. Right when slipjoints are becoming more popular you discontinue one of the two USA made ones.

Not as big of a loss in my opinion, but they really didn't introduce it that long ago. Buck having an identity crisis?
 
I don't have any inside info, but I'm gonna guess "no" with this one. I get similar emails about any number of Buck knives that I browse. I think their website tracks your interests, tracks inventory, and tries to connect interests+low inventory to generate FOMO purchases. Buck Knives Inc. Buck Knives Inc. would know the official story.

Regarding the 303, it's my favorite knife. Hands down.

That and the 301. It's also my favorite knife.

The 309 is also the best Buck knife.

My absolute favorite is the 55.

The 284 is a sleeper, and could be the best of the bunch.

The 305 is no slouch either.

I need to stop.
