Buck Bowie ID Please

I friend of mine got this huge "Buck" knife and both of us can't figure out if it is real.
It is a massive bowie, a blade measuring about 11.5 inches.

What do you think this is?

We would love to help but without a picture it's pretty much impossible.
If it is not actually marked "Buck" the odds drop considerably.
I see you managed to post a knife picture on another sub forum previously???

Yep I’ll take it. I’d say it’s from the 50s-60s. Handle is probably elk. They don’t pop up much.
