Buck history question

In my opinion if a Buck family member started making knives in 1902, and all the sons in between have made knives, they can claim, "We've been making knives since 1902." Even if the current corporation was registered in a later year. "Established in 1902" is more of a stretch, but still not an untruth. Who knows if young Hoyt planned to start a business as he was learning to make knives in 1902? Many young people dream of owning their own business. If that was in his head then "Established" is fair.
