Buck master series?

Hi!
I missed the last time when the Buck master series with diamond wood and with BG-42 steel was offered. Will the folks at Buck reintroduce this series again? I would love to have the Special 119 in this version. Sorry,i don´t have any pictures to show how fine they where,but many people besides me surely remember their apperance.

Hello,
I do not know of any future plans to reintroduce the Master Series. This was basically Buck's first venture into the hihger end steels and since then, they have been offering more and more knives with BG-42 and ATS-34, with a few other "flavors" also in the line.
I have been hoping that we might see a half dozen or so of the classic models offered with one of these steels and a standard handle. As it is now, if a person looks really hard, they can find a 119 in file steel, (1095 i think ?), 440C, 425mod, 420HC, and BG-42.
