Recently, I read that someone complained and others agreed with him that if a knife is kept in its sheath for too long, rust sets in.
So on impulse when I went home that day was to pull out my Buck 120 from the sheath. Verdict: No rust. How strange, I thought.
That knife must have been there for at least five years. Of course, occasionally I take it out. But after such a long duration when no rust is visible, I am puzzled. Why?
Now that is one special Buck sheath.
