I bought this new in the 70's. Made in the USA. It did not come with a sheath. The steel has been used a few times, but you can't tell. It has a course side, fine side and both long edges can sharpen. It can also be used as a chisel or pry tool. It has no rust no dings. The holder has no imperfections other than light marks from being carried. I had this in my bug out bag because its very handy, but it's too cool to possibly lose.
