Here’s a couple BOTM folders that always seem to get carried together. 110 Slim with 3V and brass. And 301 with S30V blades, green micarta and brass.

I'm pretty sure I bought it in 1975, so it turns 50 this year. I don't polish the bolsters. I just wipe them down with one my wife's plastic dish scrubber thingies from time to time.

Excellent. Which steel does it have? One of these days when I’m patient enough to wait , I’m gonna order a custom 119. In the meantime , I just ordered a 119 with the polished red micarta handle and standard 420HC blade.

It has 5160 steel. IIRC, it was a special build-out done for one of the major retailers (Copper and Clad possibly?). I bought it here on the exchange. The 420HC is a good steel, I'm sure you'll be happy with it

That's a beautiful pair! Even better would be clip blades.. and brass. Just my opinion of course.
