Buck's Macassar Ebony Dymondwood?

I have carried a small vantage dymondwood since they were first offered. In many outdoor, humid, wet, hot and cold conditions. It remains as stable a scale as you can ask for. I have lost one over the edge at a boat dock but could not find it with a big magnet. Being winter I chose not to disrobe and dive (and the water exceeded my personal courage depth (over my head)). And as they weren't that expensive I went and bought another and this time went thru all the boxes at the store and picked out one much prettier to my eye. After 2 years it remains my companion. I still carry a 300 on many days, especially the 309 in a jeans watch pocket or a 303 in a front pocket hanging pouch. I have also cut scales from a couple of dymondwood 300s for fancy re-scaling and they did not give up there grip on life easily.

So, good first hand experience on the laminate wood, 300. Did you try going back to the boat dock this past summer during the bad drought to look for it in the mud? DM
