Has anyone buffed the out side edges of their wallet for a more finished look?
Like how the outside edge of sheathes are done.

Yes, find some Fiebing's edge dressing and apply carefully and let dry. Works great and adds a nice finish to the leather. I did this with my tobacco letter pad holder and it looks great. I have heard that bees wax works well too.

I did it with a new buffing wheel soaked with leather balm on a dremel.
Worked great.
