Hey all. So I’m wanting to upgrade my bugout with some custom scales. I’m leaning more towards metals because I prefer having that solid feel in my hand. I wanted to see if anyone here has grabbed some from Aimfront? It seems like they are thinner than the ones from AWT, which I have a set from them for my mini grip and I’m not a fan of how thick they are. Sturdy for sure but just too thick and plain. Flytanium would be rad but they are always sold out. Any suggestions or input would be appreciated

@South paw draw has some killer scales on his Bugout and Bailout. Send him a personal message.

Bailout with rogue blade works carbon fiber scales . They make them for the bugout as well and there just as nice. I have the rock scale designs back spacer on both knives.

I’ve handled both of those knives. The upgraded scales drastically change the feel of the knife. For the better I might add.

You want to find out before ordering any to scales whether they are milled out on the inside or not. If so they won't be much heavier than the stock scales, if that matters to you.

Just under an once with the titanium back spacer and I have the lanyard delete model. Even lighter of you get the set with the lanyard holes and keep the stock stand offs. I just don't like'em. The stock weight is 1.87 ounces. Hope that helps

AWT bugout scales are not as thick as their GripT scales.

    I have both.

If you like carbon fiber, the Rogue Bladeworks scales are really nice. Very light weight and solid construction. I agree that it changes the feel of the knife...definitely for the better. IMG_0852.jpg
