Bulldog Ground Hog Take Apart knife

i have just received this knife from an ebay seller who sells lots of Bulldog knives. it came with the red Bulldog box but as can be seen in pic. it is not the correct box (too big). the wharncliffe blade has the fighting dogs etch and tang is stamped: BULLDOG/BRAND as is pile side tang on 2nd blade.
however all my other Bulldogs are stamped: mark side, fighting dogs etch/HAND MADE; pile side, BULLDOG BRAND/HAMMER FORGED/SOLINGEN/GERMANY. so i think the Take Apart knife is probably made in China. any Bulldog collectors care to comment ? thanks, roland

I really like this little knife myself, although I don't own one. This information I've found indicates that it's made in Japan.

There were a very few made by Queen Cutlery as well.
