BUSHMASTER JRE Sheath Question - for Dan or anyone else who can help.

I recently received a new sheath from JRE Industries for my Koster Bushmaster knife. I'm having concerns it may not be the correct sheath, as it's exactly the same JRE sheath for my Bushcrafter. Below are pictures of the sheaths with knives:

Bushmaster (top) and Bushcrafter (bottom). Both sheaths are exactly the same size.

As you can see, the Bushmaster handle sticks out much farther than the Bushcrafter, although the blade fits quite well.

Before I sent an email to Dan at JRE Industries, I wanted to confirm whether or not this is the right sized sheath for the Bushmaster.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see how that makes any sense. A larger knife should demand a larger sheath. All I have is the Bushcrafter combo so I can't speak from experience with the bushmaster sheath. But I agree with you, it sure doesn't look right.

It can't hurt to ask JRE though!

I have both; the Bushmaster sheath is 1 3/8" longer than the Bushcrafter sheath.

That's the wrong sheath, Bro.

Shoot JRE an email - they'll straighten things out for you.

Great pics, though!

Remind me of myself sometimes....too big for my own pants. LOL

Thanks Dan and to everyone else.

I know JRE has recently moved shop, and that can cause a few problems.

I'll send them an email and hopefully can easily be resolved.

Cheers!
