I wanted to put together a thread for the hardcore users out there. For me the reason i buy Busses primarily is that they are ment to be the ultimate user blade, the knife you always dreamed of that can be used for prying, chopping, carving, hammering, digging and still prep some food at the end of the day... right? I am definitely not the "safe queen" type.

Lets see your blades at work in the field doing what they do best and what you might be afraid to do with other knives. This is why I buy Busse blades.

I only have users myself, I'll post some pics in a bit when I'm back home.

One thing I will say though is that it really makes me cringe when I see a knife used as a screwdriver. It's of course your knife and all the power to you though.

Great thread!

For that poking-through screw, I thought you were going to batton the end of it off with the blade.

Been using that scrapper 5 hard like that for 4+ years and a few tiny nicks in the blade is all thats ever come from unscrewing something. Who needs a bulky multi-tool when a good fixed blade can perform most tasks, its a flat head screwdriver, can opener, hammer, axe, shovel, prybar, kitchen knife and self defense tool. I even use mine as a pencil when pulling measurements and i realize that my pencil has been misplaced for the hundredth time.
But I hear you and wouldn't try it with any other knives than Busse.
