DEK1 included because it’s the closest thing to a Utility Fighter 5 we can get ( hint, hint - I’d buy 2 at least ).

That would be a question for oldmanwilly . I just posted the pic. That is a pretty decent size hole though.

benchrest308 , based on your username I think you'll be pleased to learn that I was using a Browning A-Bolt in .308 with PMC 150 gr. soft points that day. That doe had a clean lung shot and ran about 30 yards before dropping. A little overpowered for whitetails in Central Texas, but the rifle is a convenient package for a stroll in the pasture.

oldmanwilly thank you for the response. I'm very surprised at the exit wound size. The lead core held up very well, I'd assume. What was the distance?

The A bolt is very popular here. I sold many when I was an arms dealer.

Gorgeous and gorgerouser.

The UF2 is fantastic, and the rag micarta was worth waiting for. The handle tweaks solve a few imperfections in the original and are more versatile in forwards grip than the DEK. I don't think I'll be letting go of my UF1.0 with redwood burl handles, sharpened clip and hand satin, though. It's a great reminder of the early years of CPK.

Why the hell aren’t there more pics in this thread? I couldn’t open this thing fast enough and was not disappointed one bit. This knife is an excellent work of art.
