Can your knife cleanly cut toilet tissue?

I've done it a couple times for giggles, but a TP slicing edge doesn't last as near as long as it takes to achieve. I settle for "hair popping" these days.

I actually know a guy who keeps a knife in the bathroom for this... calls it the poop knife...

I like sharp. Seldom even try to get much beyond effortless slicing of newspaper or copy paper.

I can also turn newspapers into tp too.... when i ran out. So, technically, i can cut said "tp" with ease. Hell anything can turn into toilet paper if you think of it.

Ya can.... but newspaper isn't much better than using leaves other than you can cut it to the size you want.

Be careful on which leaves though... you wouldn't want to wipe your behind with poison ivy. That's fun times for your butts.

You guys are terrible, motivated from this high IQ thread i tried a trick shot (yeah goes downhill from here).

loosed a few feet of a roll so it was like a kite tail with the roll at the head then I figured I would throw it in the air and cut multiple slices and then catch the roll and let the pieces fall neatly to the ground, probs saw something similar in a ninja cartoon and it stuck in my brain.

Nearly ended up in ER.

So glad it didn't end up on YouTube.

None of this is about the practicality or need to cut TP with a pocket knife.

It's about mastering sharpening skills to a high level -- like whittling hairs.

Personally, I'm skeptical about the OP's claim to be able to cut TP slowly, cleanly while changing directions of the cut. I'd have to see that.

Thanks for those videos. Those edges are definitely sharp.

But they were pull cuts. The TP was under pressure, and there was no change of directions "nice and slow," which is what I'm skeptical about.
