Ladybug is a great size for a small or keychain size knife. The manbug is smaller than I'll ever be interested in, I'd just go with the grasshopper at that point.

Manbug received. And I have to say I have mixed feelings... Yes, it's high quality, recognizable blade, steel probably is awesome. But, I can't get rid of the feel that it's just one of a Barbie's toys (or Ken's... obviously Barbie would go with ladybug lol :)
So I think while it's still new and unused I'll let it go (BTW let me know if somebody is interested) and will take another dragonfly (in zome green probably) 8-)

The Cold Steel may be built like a tank but it is a poor slicer compared to the Spyderco offerings. I pefer the Manbug because it has just enough dimensional difference from the Ladybug to make it easier to use and it is easier to one hand open.

Here is another option that I quite like, the Cold Steel Mini Tuff Lite: https://www.knifeworks.com/cold-steel-mini-tuff-lite-plain-edge-pink-grivory-handle.html
They have been discontinued and are getting hard to find in any color.

I have most of the small Spydies and I prefer the Mini Tuff Lite to all of them. The pink one you linked is my current keychain knife, incidentally, but I have a half dozen of the black ones kicking around as well.

Don't wanna make another thread.
I bought DF in Zome green and I found interesting thing... lettering on the blade are different on two sides. Looks like "SPYDERCO VG-10" is stamped and "SEKI-CITY JAPAN" is acid-etched. And the font is different.
Is it ok for Japanese spyderco to do that? Or I got fake? (Is there a thing such a zome green DF fake?)
I don't know if I can add pictures here but here are links on them:

I’m surprised you didn’t like the man bug in hap40 or zdp-189. The man bug fits nicely with a string tie around the end—even a ladybug can be used by my 2xl hands with a little string for the palm of my hand. But it isn’t for everyone, I guess.

Actually I really like Manbug (in fact I so much like it that I ordered Ladybug :)) Just first impressions were so-so.

Manbug is nice, but yes, it is really tiny. I think you will like the Dragonfly 2. It is surprisingly ergonomic and has amazing cutting power for such a small knife. Looks like you got the zome green. If you really like it, I would highly recommend getting the Dragonfly with ZDP-189 blade steel. VG-10 is good, but you will really notice a difference in edge retention with the ZDP. And don't worry about the stamping on your Dragonfly. Looks legit.

I already have DF in ZDP ;) but haven't use it that much

Just got Ladybug H-1 with spyderedge! What an awesome knife! I'm really impressed.
I can't explain why but Manbug disappointed me (well not exactly disappointed but I had high expectations and my first reaction was - "meh") and Ladybug just impressed me (I said "wow")...
Probably because I find LB more elegant, more compact, more "tippie". I think now I need LB in ZDP and probably V-toku2 (while it's available) :) lol
P.S. what I found great in both models - they're small enough not to be considered as a Knife so you can carry a full size blade in addition :)

personal preference...one person can tell u manbug is better another its ladybug. so its pretty hard to decide unless u held both. both unique in its own way. for me small hands I like the manbug better grip. on other side ladybug i like the pointy blade. just get both satisfy your thirst.

updated after a yr.
ladybug: prefer on keys/gym shorts
manbug wharnie: better grip can be main edc but i dont like it on keys or shorts working out.

heres my conclusion. have ladybug wouldnt need manbug but could have dragonfly as 2nd. have manbug only wouldnt need ladybug or dragonfly (both would be NICE to have). dragonfly has really good ergos but i wouldnt carry it working out. but i do want a delica tho lol. so have 4 knives but id probably use the ladybug most due to size/convenience to carry.
