Charlottesville, VA?

Does anyone know of a knifemaker in Charlottesville, Virginia. I know about the Jones Brothers, but they're close to 150 miles away.

Sorry, dont know any in Charlottesville but check out the back of any of the knives Annual books for a state by state list.
Just FYI, if you decide to go with the Jones Bros., Barry Jones has a degree in drafting and will send you detailed sketches of whatever you want before beginning to make it so you can make changes.

BTW, was in Charlottesville for the 1993 National powerlifting championships at U of Va. What a beautiful area of the state.

That Fighter/Bowie looks very similar to the Al MAr bowie made years ago.

Robert Barber is one heck of a good knifemaker and a heck of a nice guy to boot. Robert Schmidt is also in Charlottesville. I can say the same about him as I did about R Barber.

You wouldn't be disappointed by choosing either of them to make you a knife.

Well, this post has some of my favorite people. I have a blade from all of the above and can say that if you get one from any of them and aren't thrilled, something is wrong with you.
