While on my search for the perfect knife i stumbled onto these beautiful peices of work and thought that they would definately cause some waves here. Enjoy:D

The top part of the fish which lies above the water is plated gold and so are the leaves. Here are the specs:Koi Auto.
Double action automatic. Liner lock.

Blade; Double stainless Damascus (Damasteel) Heat colored and engraved. Inlaied with 24k gold also an 18k gold thumb opener.
Handle: Stainless Damascus (Damasteel) engraved & inlayed with 24k gold, 20k green gold and Shyaku dou.
Blade length; 115mm (4 1/2 inches)
Open length; 260mm (10 1/4 inches)
A big knife!
Back bar; Ats-34 fully file worked and engraved.
The front shows a Koi carp in a stream (24k gold)whith an overhanging wisteria tree(24k gold 20k green gold & shyaku dou). The back shows a Japanese wild duck in a stream (silver and Shyaku dou)with bamboo at the edge(24K gold and 20K green gold) and a moon in the sky(silver).

Blade:ZDP-189 in the center (Rc67) and ATS-34 on the outside.Length 145mm (5 3/4inches). Engraved and 24k gold inlays.
Front: shows Fu-Jin (God of wind)releasing a dragon and wind from his wind bag.
Back shows Rai-Jin (God of thunder) beating on his drums in the clouds.
Hilt. Mokume by Mike Petersen.
Handle: Ray skin silk bound with silver Menuki, one of which is catching a 24k gold fireball.
Full length:280mm (11 inches).
Edge:Micro mirror polish.
