Can someone recommend a decbrand of checkering files for me? I am looking to make a purchase soon, and I'm not sure who to look out for.

Thanks in advance,
Travis

Rio Grande has some Friedrich Dick checkering files. Keep and eye on the LPI because they are different for the different cuts.

Another vote for Rio Grande, great quality and decent prices.

Brownells carries them, too. They've got some interesting files for gunsmithing that translate well to a knifemaker's shop.

I have used Grobet files for years.
