And afishhunter is excited to try out the Proper, which has a proper walk and talk of a 5 or 6 (the 2023 BF knife is a nail puller).

That Benchmade Proper is no slouch, I have one and really like it

I only parted with this Proper because I had the S90V and Carbon Fiber version too, and I have a Giantmouse ACE Farley with Lanyard from Gary W. Graley that is very similar.

As for the forum knives I donated to this, I received #269 which is 2x as good as #69, and I found #555 from a 3rd party for a fair price, so I bought the #625E direct from Spark just for the giveaway. I didn't want to give up either of my numbers.

And Gary says he DID in fact sharpen up #422 before paying it forward for the giveaway.

Edit to add pic showing the similar ACE Farley... It's a slip joint, and traditional when the pocket clip is removed, such as in my pics. I bought a sheath from Gary for it too.
