Clip removal question for Sal

I just took the clip off my Wegner Jr to see how it rides in the pocket without the clip, and I noticed a little goo at the top of the threads on the screws (under the head of the screw). It's red/pink in color. Is this Loc-tite? Further, when I replace the screws in the G-10 and/or Micarta of my other knives, should I use a little Loc-tite to prevent loosening???? Thanks!!!!!!!
 
Thanks, Sal - Wilco. Have enjoyed the board and the banter, but it sure is hard to keep up with this one and the Spyderco board on yoru site - how do you do it?
 
Sailor - It's sometimes tough. But I have some help and am recruiting more.

When I travel, it's not possible.
