Troy, I was boxing up my for sale knives today and noticed a very minor/small spot on the inside of the retention strap that has come in contact with the blade. Very superficial and just at the surface. Will send a pic in the morning. If still interested after it is yours and I will send you the paypal link. Would be shipped Monday morning. Looks like Micarta to me. Do not hold me to that bur here is a pic of the actual scales. You can see the fibers. Maybe linen?
