Little project I thought you might like. This is a Dixie Gun Works 1742 British infantry sword that I rehilted in the style of John Bailey or William Moulton, albeit with cheaper materials (brass and wood instead of silver and bone). The pommel and belt buckle are from Roy Najecki. I made the grip a long time ago and finished it with linseed oil; if I'd had more research done back then, I'd have used shellac and oil-rosin varnish instead. Might redo the belt stitching to move those big ugly knots to the inside later on.
