I have a Colonial Razor, black plastic handles: Stamped Colonial Razor,Warranted , Registered, Germany. Box is stamped: G.R. springer, Kansas City, MO.,Sole agent for the..... on other end looks like Mascott, USA
Any ideas??

My guess is that G.R. Springer was a barber supply house and they contracted with a German company to tang stamp a quantity of razors for them to retail. Mascott would have been an brand name for Springer. Such as, "green lizzard", "red imp", etc. were for other mfgs.
Colonial may have made a batch of similar razors for another supplier with another name, for the other retailer to be the sole agent.
There are, of course, thousands more from different mfg. mostly pre WWI.
Does that help to answer your question?

More info.
Acording to the 1889-91 Kansas City, Mo city directory, George Springer was in the barber supply business and located at 514 Broadway with his home at 1422 Wyandotte.
In addition, acording to the US census of 1900, he was from Germany and born in 1859 and immigrated in 1876. In 1900 he was still in the barber supply business.
