Commander thumbstud.

Can anyone tell me what color the thumbstud on the Emerson Commander is?

On the Black T- commanders they're black thumbdiscs. On the satin and bead blasted ones I've seen they've been silver.

All the black bladed models I've seen have black thumb studs. I just got some of the CN Chromium Nitride coated units which are silver and they also have the black thumb studs. They would probably look better with the silver studs?

I am asking because I recently had a black one with both a silver stud and a silver pivot screw.

Was it something rare and special?

Either they ran out of the black ones at the time or they just got mixed in the bin. Exhale.

In Emerson's reply on the CQC67's he said that for beadblasted blades he'll just sometimes pick the black one. They probably jusy ran out of the black ones for your Commander is Nakano2 said.
