Just want to see the difference in them, thickness wise

and also if anyone has any experiences with either, functionality of the tools, which you recommend etc

Taking the width specs from SAK wiki, the Pioneer is 11.6mm. The Farmer is 14mm.

If you need a decent wood saw, a Farmer fits the bill. I had a vintage Pioneer w/c I lost years ago. It's been replaced with a Blue Alox Farmer and it's been great.

I like the farmer way better but that's just my opinion. I think the thickness feels nice in hand and pocket.
