It looks nice. I see you convexed your edge a bit more, too. I have only had the knife a few days, so I can't say about the wood. I put some wax on it today.
 
Yea, I did sharpen it a bit but Im not sure if it narrowed much.. hopefully a bit. I thought that it needed littlebit of touching up edgewise.
 
Any chance to reach such a great results with the CHB without a belt grinder = just with stones? Or would it be too much of work?
 
Thanks for the writeup. I have had one for several years but never gotten around to stripping the epoxy off yet. Good working knife and a serious chopper. It is pretty tough stuff and taken a lot of abuse. I have had it in second line use since I got my Condor Moonshiner, but you have inspired me to get it out, stripe the blade down and thin the profile. :thumbsup:
