Chris Brown was in my intro to bladesmithing clas last summer. He shows great promise as a bladesmith. He has a good eye for line, is meticulous and is hungry to learn. He has also worked with Tim Potier, and took his Journeyman smith performance test with Tim recently. Needless to say he passed, and is the first of any of my students to do so. He will submit his five knives at the 2005 blade show to get his stamp.

Bailey, you mean that Chris was able to learn enough from you to pass his Journeyman test? Amazing!:p

I can't take all the credit for Chris's bladesmithing education. I taught one week of a two week course. Bruce Fuller of Fullco Forge led teh other weeks lessons. Chris has also spent time with Tim Potier who is a fabulous mastersmith.

I have tried to contact Chris for pictures, but his e-mail was returned. I will try again today.
