Hi all,

Posting this modification pics since I was unable to find how to convert a leather vertical sheath to horizontal, hope it helps other.
I cut the part with the vertical loop, took a strip of black leather to create a new loop, drilled 3 holes, and used a Chicago screw to close the loop.
As you can see it can be still carried vertically. Also it can be locked in place with a key ring lock, if I want to add it.

Great idea!

One question: doesn't it let the knife a little "loose", risking letting it fall? Maybe the screw could be used to add a retention strap?...

this particularly knife is very hard to push and come out of the sheath, I could run and jump it would not fall.
