I understand that the larger SS bolts being used are corby bolts but how about the smaller ones? Are the smaller ones just considered pins our does Andy consider both of these sizes corby bolts? I am assuming that one is asking for the larger size when one ask for a corby bolt.

A Corby bolt is a flathead screw system that sits in a countersunk hole. Once you grind off the head, you can never tell if its a bolt or a pin. It adds a bit of strength, but really pins are enough. The corby saves me a clamp during glueup.

I have more than one size. I use the mediums more than anything else, but I also have small.
