I am brand new , both to this site and knives.
I can not seem to post a photo. It is an easy mark. The initals W K. In between the initals is an anvil. One interesting note is that the tang on the top edge are four large 'stars'. Also hallmarks?
A buyer offered to buy this knife BUT would NOT tell me the maker.
He also said...."too bad the hilt was stag"... and implyed it would be better if it wasn't.
The sheath has a large 'F' on the inside tip
It is a large bowie knife.
The sheath is over a 1/2 inch thick and has a inside 'wood' liner

WK is well known as Walt Knubler…..old time and classic.

David Votaw took over Walt’s shop when he passed.
If it does not have the “V” in the anvil, then it was made by Walt.
