Nice knife, I hope they start turning up at online retail sites for less than $300.
If you click on the sheath link it appears to come with a tan sheath and a Becker 13. I'm curious if the BK-13 is the US or Chinese made version.

In my opinion this may have value to a collector but not a user. If you upgrade a standard BK7 with micarta scales you've spent around $100.

collectors? oh yes.

users? sure. it's a stainless knife. really good around salt water. that has utiility for many.

$300 list and possibly (certainly unlikely due to the limited nature) lower on the "street", it's a winner S30V is also rare by its own nature (see: crucible news).

if you want a hard user, and don't mind the rust, and caring for it in certain harsher environments, absolutely, buy a regular BK7.

if you want something more, and some people do, spend the $$$. it's a choice
