At Wilson Combat we build every gun to order. Often a customer will make a special request that just looks cool! This is one of those times. The customer wanted a stealthy matte blued finish. This really looks great next to the matte stainless barrel and plug. Another great, unique custom 1911 with some other thoughtful upgrades like a bullet proof ambi safety and G-10 grips.

Very nice, is the front strap checkering CNC or by hand?

The front strap checkering is CNC machine cut, and then cleaned up and finely pointed by hand.
