A friend of mine used to sell Cutcos blades. The most useful out of the set was the spatula. Their "double D" serration is very good for a breadknife, and maybe a wood saw, but not much else. I wasn't into making then, so I don't remember what steel they used, except that it was a stainless, with a spring temper. He mentioned that. Their handles were nice, though. They were some kind of hardened resin with a nice shape and feel to them, and nickel silver pins.
