Blade: Damascus steel, overall length is about 8" with a 3 9/16" blade and 4 1/4" closed length. The knife is signed and dated with month and year I made it.
The fileworked damascus blade and fileworked damascus backspacer and damascus bolsters were cut and shaped from Brad Vice damascus billets. It is shaped and surface ground to 220 grit, 2 flat ground bevels grinds, hand sanded at 220, 400, 600 and 1200 grit before heat treating and fast oil quench. Then resanded and buffed before acid etching. It is heat treated and tempered to a Rockwell 55 to 58. There is a double thumbstud with tiger eye stones.
Handle: Scales are stabilized lacewood. These scales have been sanded to a 1200 grit and buffed to a smooth finish. There are a few natural color variations in the wood. The scale are held to the gold anodized titanium liners via fileworked screws. The liners are also fileworked.
