D Guard Sandbar Bowie Knife Design Sketch

I'm making up the blanks now. The 1st. one will let me know where to make changes
for balance and handling with that 13" blade.
2 of them are already spoken. I'm only making 3 for now so I may just keep one.
I hope to have one in scales by the weekend.

Mike this is just a beautiful knife......truly better than the traditional Sandbar you made!!! AWESOME!!!!!

Specs are;
17. 3/4" overall and weighs 33.5 oz.
The blade is 1095 carbon steel 12. 3/8" X 2. 1/4" X 1/4" thick (3/8" at the catchers).
The handle is 5" long with scales of lightly darkened Curly Maple.
