While I have personally handled the Hanwei Da Dao and have never handled the Cold Steel Da Dao, I have received feedback from some sword collectors that the Cold Steel line of Chinese swords are pretty good for the prices they were asking. Feedback given was that while they are not absolutely perfect, the Cold Steel series are still the best quality replicas one can purchase off the market. I don't think there is any other wushu practice replica that can compare with Cold Steel Da Dao....

I think that cold steel dadao is very nice, and also the Paul Chen ones.
Personally I think that Cold steel are more beautiful (no doubt), but I think that even beeing a good sword it is made with spring steel (their steel is really very good), but it is not as good as carbon steel.
