Very sad. A few months ago, he made me a little fixed blade neck knife, the Sermon 5.56. I was impressed how he kept me updated via emails from order to delivery.
 
Very sorry to hear this.

I carry a neck knife daily which he gifted to me many years ago.

He was a very talented maker and I had the pleasure of visiting with him at many shows in years past.

Thank you Darrel for everything you contributed in our world. He was a good friend to me for many years, yet we've been out of touch for a while. I'm sad about that.
