Dear Jo, Get well soon!

Whenever I get any respiratory virus (which is not often), I treat it with vitamin C, D3 & zinc as follows:
- zinc ā€“ 50 mg/day maximum
- D3 ā€“ ~5000 IU/day (I recently had my blood level checked, and I was at the low end of the acceptable range, and that was with 4000 IU/day, so I increased it to 6000 IU (3000 IU twice/day))
- C ā€“ it's hard to take too much, so if I am very sick I typically take ~2000 mg every hour or so until my sinuses start to dry out and then I back way off

I'm not a doctor, so this is not to be construed as medical advice, but this is what works for me. Consult your doctor (if you can find one that is open-minded and uses their brain, and is not a slave to the AMA, Dr. Fauci and others).

I also find hot liquids help, especially tea and chicken noodle soup (and others too). Take good care of yourself Jo!
