That's 2001 in Chinese characters (二 means 2, 千 means thousand, 零 means 0, and 一 means 1), that's the year 2001, and the panda coin was the 2001 edition.What do the symbols on the left of the scale mean or signify?
Those Gold coin editions were gorgeous! The UK dealer had 2 Isle of Man edition ones for ages he couldn’t sell. Missed out there

The 2000 large and small are buckeye burl, the 1999 is maple burlI thought the 1999 ones only came in Buckeye, what wood is that? The grain is outstanding!!
