And it still ain't here!!!

I'd charge more to deliver it and it would take longer...;)

(PS - Maybe a problem w/ address or label. After all it did go to Reno than onward. Probably to DHL home for orphaned packages...)

I wonder if the Biltons made this shipment? Reckon we'll find out if it ever finds its way to you.:D

Sarge

Bet somebody decided it contained 'weapons'
or that it was in some way suspicious,
(maybe a 'sniffer' picked up suspicious molecules)
and automatically routed it to Central hub
for reprocessing/rechecking.

Parcels made it to within five miles of me but seems they passed thru customs without being opened so had to be sent to Ohio (why there I'm not sure -- San Francisco or Los Angeles are major ports of entry and a lot closer) so they could be opened, resealed and then shipped back to Reno. I'd tracked the shipment, knew it has in Reno, so called DHL to see why the parcels were not being delivered. That's where I got the customs story.

If things can go wrong they will. It's like my observation of Nepali behavior. If there are 99 ways to do some task correctly and one way to do it wrong the Nepali will always find the wrong way first time out. That's why it takes three times as long to train a Gorkha for military service than it does anybody else. Did you know that Gorkhas have to learn to eat all over again in basic training? However, once civilized and trained.......

central hubs are more efficient.

This for one box????

Escape from Thailand?

Any way, after Thailand, it does seem to at least be moving at pretty good speed. Maybe you can snag it when the orbit next passes near Reno.

Good luck, Sir.

With all this round about shipping, jostling, opening, closing and handling, I smell a few BLEMS coming!

So that's why! I MUST have alot of Nepali in me then?

Actually, Bruise is my candidate for honorary Nepali. He wants to cure the very small space between horn and tang in Chiruwa handle with vice and five pound hammer. He's got the makings. I'm going to send email to the Gorkha recruiting Sgt and see if he can't get Bruise signed up.
