Are the "Old" Wave and "New" Wave the same???

Halfbutt thinking of getting a "new" Wave and have a sheath the fits my old one that I want to continue using...

The old Wave seems considerably smaller than the new Wave. It wouldn't fit the old sheath.

Thats what I thought... I live so far out that a drive to town just to check was a silly idea... gotta love the internet... thanks for the feedback!
