Rob Frink built this attachment for me a couple years ago. It's built like a watch and balanced perfect, no vibration at all. The face is beveled so you can sand long sections of steel and go past the center of the disc without any worries. The face of the disc is covered with a rubber membrane. I have my metal lathe now and have a disc sander on it and don't find a need for this anymore so I thought I'd pass it on. The arm that you see in the picture was made by me. It was necessary to extend the disc far enough out so enough tension could be put on a belt to turn the disc. It comes with the disc. I'm asking $75 for the unit.
