Just thought I'd share a few pics of my latest leathercraft project. I recently picked up a Smith and Son's Brave and even though I didn't like the knife it did come with a leather sheath that I was impressed with. I liked it so much that I decided to make a more refined, handstitched, scaled version of it for my BRKT Fox River. It's made from 8/9oz Hermann Oak Veg tan, hand burnished, dyed and hand stitched with waxed thread. I dyed it to match the sheath I also made for my Gransfors Bruks Outdoor Axe.

That's gorgeous! Your hand stitching looks flawless. How do you make the holes? Thanks.

Thanks! I cut the stitch grooves and used a stitching wheel to mark the holes, then I drilled them through with a super small drill bit. As I stitched I opened up the holes with a stitching awl.
