Do you clean and lubricate your knives with CLP?

I only use Ballistol. I quit CLP years ago. Breakfree is still a go to alternative

Hey Brother I'm a big fan of "BALLISTOL" myself . Not only for it's properties of lubricity but I find it has a lot of viable uses on cutlery tools. For G-10 handles for instance I've never seen any product that rejuvenates and preserves G-10 scales/handles ( faded, cracked, withered ect.,) like BALLISTOL does. I also love how you can store knives of any type for a very long time after rubbing them down with BALLISTOL with excellent results; and it just doesn't go bad no matter how many years you store them.

Now for general, overall lubrication I still put "MILITEC" at the top even though it's not the only lube I use but it's still my overall favorite for folders that need lube for moving parts and a lube that will cling well to the metal and moving parts. Ballistol does have good lubricative properties but to be fair there are more advanced products with superior lubricity to be sure>> but if I didn't have anything else I would sure use it for that if I had to.

For storage where corrosion can literally come back to haunt you later down the road I still love "TUF CLOTH" by "Sentry Solutions" company and I've yet to find anything that can beat it's overall, long term performance.

But again BALLISTOL is a great product and is great for dozens of uses. The only negative thing I can say about BALLISTOL is the odor can be rather annoying at times. But it's a very small price to pay for all the great uses that it's good for ;)
