Do your knives ever show up in your dreams?

Hello everyone, every so often I have dreams and more than a couple times now I have either used or had a knife on me in my dreams. The knife is sometimes one I actually own, and sometimes it's not. Would love to hear any similar dreaming experiences that you have had.

Interesting question. Most people often have dreams relating to things that are or have been important in their daily lives, so I would expect quite a few people here to have knives in their dreams. BTW, Freud was a quack.

Knives are notable by their absence in my dreams. From time to time I dream that I need a knife for something and then realize that I am not carrying one. It's like dreaming I'm in a busy store and suddenly realizing I have no pants on.

Had dream where I was stuck in some kind of forest/jungle.

And then out od nowhere pulled my AK47 fixed blade out of my pocket and cut my way out through brush and vines...

None of mine ended up in a dream but one time I had a Klingon battle sword in one and I slipped into a depression after waking up because I realized it was only a dream. I've been looking for one ever since.

Yes but usually for regular reasons like needing to cut a piece of twine or get some mundane task out of the way. Even in a fantasy setting like needing to free a maiden from a bandit's net in the forest, I just pull out whatever is in my pocket and I usually don't remember the details.

I almost never dream of knives - unless it’s some feverish ”my cabin is full of snakes and I must hack them with machete” kind of dreams (yes, I had one).

It's becoming more difficult for me to determine what is real and what is a dream. It's possible my occupation as an assassin is all a fabrication of my mind, and that in fact none of my knives have stabbed people (other than me). Maybe I should see a shrink.

You know now that I read your post and thought about it, I have had dreams like this in the past. I always woke up kinda deflated thinking man that could've been a awesome dream lol !
