I doubled my Spydie collection this week. I got one of the neat new Yang kitchen knives AND a brand spankin new Police Serrated SS.
The Yang and Police are very similar in profile with the same size and shape handles with the logos even in the exact same place.
One thing about the Police is it made me much more impressed with my Crossbill.
The much cheaper SS Byrd is actually better Ergonomically and has better in some design respects than the Police.
The Police is one of my favourite concealable weapons. It's slim and hides a huge wicked blade perfectly in either a suit or jeans. I also like the lack of unsightly holes everywhere. It is not so bad on G10 or FRN but on SS it looks awful. I carry knives designed for tip up tip up and knives like my Chinook3 that is designed tip down I wear tip down. At the very least I would like to be able to get screws to fill the holes.
The Yang worked incredibly well on a pork roast that we were able to cut wafer thin for sandwiches. It may be time to try out that Yang right now.
